Terms of Service
By using FlowSTR you agree to these terms. They're the rules of the road for both sides — property managers and service providers.
1. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older and authorized to operate the business you sign up as.
- Keep your password secure — you're responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per business. Don't impersonate anyone.
2. FlowSTR is a platform, not a party to the work
FlowSTR connects property managers with independent service providers. We host the calendar, the marketplace, and the messaging — we are not the employer of any provider, and we are not a party to the contracts or work performed between a PM and a provider. Specifically:
- Providers are independent contractors — they set their own bids, schedule, and methods.
- PMs choose which providers to hire from the marketplace.
- Disputes about work quality, scheduling, or payment between a PM and a provider are between them.
- Each party agrees to indemnify and hold FlowSTR harmless from any loss, claim, or liability arising from the work performed, the property accessed, or the conduct of the other party.
3. Provider verification
Service providers may opt into FlowSTR's verification workflow, which captures attestations (work authorization, background-check consent, insurance) and references third-party screening providers. A "Verified" badge means the screening provider returned a positive result on the date shown. It is not a guarantee of competence, safety, or fitness for any particular job. PMs are encouraged to do their own diligence (call references, ask for proof of insurance, verify licenses).
4. Payments
- FlowSTR uses Stripe for payment processing. Stripe's terms also apply to all card transactions.
- Subscription fees (Pro, Business plans) are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable for partial periods. Cancel any time to stop the next renewal.
- Marketplace payments flow PM → provider directly via Stripe Connect; FlowSTR may take a small platform fee disclosed at the time of transaction.
- You're responsible for taxes on any income you receive through FlowSTR.
5. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Use FlowSTR for anything illegal, harassing, or fraudulent.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or stress-test the service without written permission.
- Misrepresent yourself, your business, or your work.
- Solicit users off-platform to avoid platform fees once a marketplace connection has been made — this undermines the trust and safety we provide.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you put into FlowSTR (properties, jobs, messages, photos). You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it so the platform can function. You promise you have the right to upload everything you upload.
7. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but make no warranty. FlowSTR is provided "as is". Use it at your own risk for anything where downtime would meaningfully hurt your business — keep your own backups and contingency plans.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlowSTR's total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post material changes and update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
